About this project

This web portal is built on top of our auction archive (CORPVS NVMMORVM) which we are building since 2012. It has more than 20 million auction lots from more than 200 auction houses from all over the world.

Our mission is to connect this auction archive with bibliography and other useful indexes, so collectors will not depend on full text search. The linking is done 99% automatically although manual linking is possible too. Automatic linking (and human linking too) is not immune to errors, so please do not trust all information you see here and always double check, especially when you want to make a big decision based on prices or bibliography references. We do not take any responsibility for the accurateness of the data.

We have more tools and web sites for collectors in preparation:

  • COINS (Collector Inventory System) - A Windows  client for maintaining your own collection. The software is web client-server application and it is integrated with the auction archive. Available spring 2018
  • COINS for Web - Web portal with almost same functionality as its Windows counterpart. Available summer 2018
  • COINS for Mobile - simplified iPhone and Android version. Available summer 2018

We are planning to categorize data based on area, so it will be possible to set filter based on you area of interest (numismatics, philately, phaleristics...)Note: This is continuous work and we are sure there are many mistakes, errors, typos, encoding issues, missing prices, etc. We try to fix all as soon as possible so please report all errors or suggestions to info@trikvetra.no

If you are experts in partical country or area and you would like to contribute on this project, please contact us. We are also looking for translators.

Info for Auction Houses

Auction details and auction lots are published free of charge. In most cases we can collect auction details directly from your web site.  All information from future auctions and archive for past 6 month is free to our users. Data older than 6 months are available for subscribed users.

  • If you would like to include your auctions in our archive, please contact us at info@trikvetra.no
  • If you see your auctions in our archive and you would like us to remove it, please contact as at info@trikvetra.no
  • If you would like to maintain your auctions directly (adding new auctions, bibliography linking, updating prices, etc...), please contact us at info@trikvetra.no

Publishing of your auctions is beneficiary both for you and for collectors. This tool can inform collectors exactly about items they are interested about, without the need to actively look for it.
